A DJ and avid vinyl collector since the early 1990’s, Ricky has honed the art of building the atmosphere in a room as an artist for many years playing a range of electronic music from chill out through to main room house and electronica..

As an electronic music scene curator Ricky’s groundbreaking events have melted together music, art, film and dance into a multi sensory journey.
​
Ricky currently lives in Margate and produces the Balearic Boutique events at Olby's, Margate Soul Weekender and The Sun Deck. Along with Colin Welsh, Ricky produces the Solarwaves electronic music events. Recent notable points include a short film for the Margate Film Festival with performed live electronic score, supporting Faithless at Dreamland, Margate with a live AV set.
Over the years Ricky has played across Europe including DC10, Privilege and Pete Tong’s Wonderland in Ibiza to Tribal Sessions and Pacha London with Circoloco.

Ricky also writes and produces his own music as orchardXCI available from Bandcamp.
